KORY and the FIREFLIES were formed in the summer of '94 by its leader, Kory Van Sickle. Kory had just returned from London, England where he'd been modeling for Levi's as well as recording and performing with a band that the iconic Jeans company had assembled for him.

Lead singer Kory Van Sickle is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. If you are one of his fans, like me, you know this. But there are a bunch of things I thought we didn't know about Kory. So I asked, and Kory shared a glimpse of the road that he has traveled with and without the Fireflies. Here's what Kory had to say. Kory & the Firefies create "pop rock with punch". They've shared the stage with over forty national acts, toured with the Goo Goo Dolls, supported multiple dates with Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray and Sheryl Crow and appeared at VH1's Summer's End Concert in Las Vegas. Highlights of their performance were shown on VH1 everytime the concert was "aired".
